About Zeitraum Student Housing

玩偶姐姐 is proud to partner with Zeitraum Student Housing as our exclusive provider.
Located at U Pr暖honu 56, in Prague 7, in a newly refurbished building, Zeitraum offers housing for 玩偶姐姐 students and other young professionals in Prague. The building is approximately 25 minutes to the 玩偶姐姐 campus by public transport and offers facilities equipped for comfortable student living.

The building has seven floors, 167 total rooms, and the offers the option to choose from double or single rooms.

It鈥檚 no mistake that Hole拧ovice has been named one of the top 10 coolest neighborhoods in Europe according to . 玩偶姐姐 students have the opportunity to live in Prague 7, the original industrial quarter, where factory buildings and abandoned warehouses have since turned into art galleries and breweries on the banks of the Vltava River. Thanks to the convenient location and recent surge in popularity Hole拧ovice is home to an eclectic group of students, international expats, and locals alike. In this up-and-coming district, you can find:

Pricing & Payment

Accommodation is offered for the full fall or spring semester, as well as for both semesters combined. If capacity allows, students can also be accommodated in the winter and summer terms. You can find the academic calendar with semester dates here.

The listed price is per bed and includes utilities, basic necessities (see FAQ鈥檚), Wi-Fi, government fees, and access to common areas.
The security deposit, minus any charges for damages or fines, will be returned after the end of the semester or year.

Deposits & Payment Plans

It is possible to make payments in full or through our installment plan. Payment deadlines are as follows:

Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of either the first installment with applicable fees or full payment. An accommodation confirmation will be issued once the payment is received by 玩偶姐姐.

All late payments are a subject to the Student Financial Services Policy and will be charged the penalties and follow rules listed in section E. Due to the rolling admissions, invoices issued after the listed due dates will not be a subject to penalties; however, they will have shorter payment deadlines, and once those are missed, the same penalties will apply.

Refunds & Cancellation

Refunds are always based on the total housing cost, not the amount paid in installments. If the non-refundable fee is equal to or higher than the amount paid, no refund applies. Otherwise, any amount paid above the non-refundable fee will be refunded.

Please note:

Leaving your housing midway through the semester means you will not be refunded any difference. It is counted as cancellation of reservation 0-29 days prior to check-in date. This also applies to students that have made a booking for the whole academic year.

If a student decides to move out after only one semester, they will not be refunded for the semester they decided to live elsewhere (e.g. student decides to leave after the fall semester, they will not be refunded for the spring semester).

If studies and housing are postponed to the next semester or academic year, housing costs and fees will follow the same refund structure outlined above. Postponement is considered a cancellation for the reserved housing period.

All refunds and cancellations are processed in accordance with Section G of the Student Financial Services Policy.

Cancellation Exceptions

Visa Rejection: Visa-related cancellations follow the refund structure outlined above. However, if a visa is rejected for reasons beyond the student鈥檚 control and the visa application was submitted on time (at least 120 days before the semester starts), the applicant may request a full refund. To do so, they must provide the official rejection notice from the respective embassy to the Housing Specialist as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days after receiving it.
Under this exception refunds will not be possible after the check-in date, and full refunds are not guaranteed. Applicants should only make payments and cover applicable fees if they are fully committed to using the accommodation. If an applicant fails to secure an embassy visa appointment, a current student fails to extend their visa, or for any other reason, the above listed cancellation rules will apply without exceptions.

Please note: Visiting students (study abroad, Erasmus exchange, university exchange, etc.) attending the spring or fall semesters have their check-out dates aligned with the duration of their studies. As their stay is tied to their academic schedule, the check-out date is typically a few days after the semester ends to accommodate travel plans. The Housing Specialist will provide information on the exact dates upon inquiry.

All students are required to inform 玩偶姐姐 if they plan to check-in later or check-out earlier than the specified dates.

Zeitraum Orientation

To help you settle in, we are hosting a specific Zeitraum Orientation on听August 21st听(Day after check-in Day). This session is designed to:

Settle In: Get acquainted with the building and residence basics.
Q&A: Get answers to any housing-specific questions before the main New Student Orientation begins (August 26-27th).
Neighbourhood Tour: Join us for a guided walk to discover local shops, transport links, and essentials in your new area.

FAQ’s

玩偶姐姐 prices include all utility bills and Wi-Fi. The only extra cost is for laundry.
Laundry facilities are located in the basement. Tokens can be purchased at reception: 60 CZK (cash) or 62 CZK (card). Alternatively, use the Air Wallet app for 60 CZK per cycle. Drying racks are available if you prefer not to use the dryer. Please note: detergent is not provided
Your check-in date will be confirmed in advance. Whether it falls on a weekend or a public holiday, we鈥檙e ready to accommodate you. If you plan to arrive at night, email us ahead of time, and we鈥檒l prepare an envelope with your keys and instructions, which you can collect from the night security.
Once you are admitted, along with your acceptance letter, the Admissions Office will send you more information about student housing and our Housing Specialist will provide you with the link to apply for student housing. (This link is also above.)
Apply as soon as you’re admitted. Housing is limited and reserved on a first-paid, first-served basis. A room is only officially booked once we receive your full payment or first installment.

Confirmation of Accommodation documents can only be ordered after we have received payment and you have confirmed your details with Housing.
You can rent a room for one or two semesters. It is also possible to request housing during the winter and summer semesters. To arrange this, email听housing@aauni.edu.

Yes, the confirmation will be sent to you via DHL unless otherwise requested as soon as the payment is processed. Please note that it is your responsibility to send us the payment (500 CZK) and all the data for the housing confirmation in time to proceed your visa application on time.
You will sign the Housing contract during your check-in at the Zeitraum reception desk. The Housing contract will be issued in both Czech and English, and will be binding until the end of your stay.
You can, but you must both request the other person. It is not guaranteed that you will live with your requested person, but we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Yes, you can stay in the dormitory during the break periods as long as it falls within the period that you have rented the room.
玩偶姐姐 does not offer pick-up service; however, Prague is very well connected and the airport has access to public transportation. Prague鈥檚 international airport Vaclav Havel Airport is located 12 km west of the city center.
Not at all! 玩偶姐姐 Housing has a very convenient connection to the city center. Just hop on a tram and you鈥檒l be in there in just 15 minutes. To find a connection to your destination, visit 听
Take tram number 1 or 25 from U Pr暖honu to Strossmayerovo N谩m臎st铆. Then transfer to tram 12 to Malostransk谩. The 玩偶姐姐 campus is a 2-minute walk from there.
Yes, the high-speed wi-fi connection is available throughout the whole building. You鈥檒l get the password at your arrival.
The bathroom as well as the fridge is shared between 3 people (one in single and 2 in double room).

Yes, each floor has one shared kitchen. It includes a kettle, induction stovetop, microwave, oven, dish rack, dining table with chairs, and lockable kitchen cabinets. Each student is provided with essential utensils, cookware, and a kitchen towel.
Vacuum cleaner, mop, broom, and iron are available at reception for free. Simply sign out the item that you need on the sheet at reception, use it, and sign again that you have returned it.
There are a few smaller common lounge areas in the building, study rooms on the 2nd听and 5th听floor, as well as a game room and small听gym on the ground floor.
You cannot put holes in the wall, though posters and/or other lightweight wall hangings that are put up with tape or sticky tack are acceptable.
No, no changes can be made to the overall integrity of the building.
You will fill out a questionnaire and your answers will be used to match you with the most compatible person.
No, most buildings in the city do not have AC and instead rely on fans for the few months a year when heat is an issue.
If you lose your key, visit the reception to request a replacement (a fee applies). If you鈥檝e locked it inside your room, reception staff will assist you in retrieving it.
All letters will be delivered to reception. Use the Zeitraum address when ordering online. If your package can鈥檛 be delivered to reception, you鈥檒l receive a postal slip with pickup instructions. You鈥檒l be notified by email when mail arrives.
玩偶姐姐 and Zeitraum assume no legal responsibility for missing or stolen goods/items. Students are responsible for their personal belongings.
No, pets are not allowed.
No, all provided furniture must remain in the room, but you鈥檙e free to rearrange it. You may also add small personal furniture to make your space more comfortable. There is an Ikea approximately one hour away from Zeitraum.
